Without stopping at Wall Drug. Wall is a small town just off I-90 in South Dakota. Just north of the Badlands and it is a must see. Yes, it is a tourist trap but unlike most it is a rather enjoyable stop. If you’re looking for soveiners it is definitely the place to stop. Item are bountiful and at reasonable prices.
If you’re there early enough, you can get one of their wonderful cinnamon rolls. I’ll warn ya they are huge but definitely delicious. If your there for an afternoon lunch or dinner the buffalo burger will not disappoint.
While it is a drug store, it is a good stop prior to going through the Badlands National Park or if you’re on your way to Rapid City or the Black Hills. Thousands stop by each year and many of the young workers are from all over the states. Check out their name tag.
