The end of 2015 brought with it an extended road trip. Starting in Florida, driving to Louisiana, then on to Nebraska. After a stop over in Kansas, I headed back south as storm Goliath was approaching. The return trip down I35 included snow, rain, sleet, icy roads along with strong wind gusts. Wishing I had the snow accessory that ‘made me go hmmm’ in July. Guess I should have bought the item after all.
We made it to Austin about 2hours later than anticipated. It took us until Texas to have windshield wiper fluid as it was frozen until then.
In Austin we met with a friend we hadn’t seen since ’95-’96. Then the next morning it was driving to New Orleans. We spent two nights in New Orleans, and had fun. The. It was time to return to Florida and that drive was almost totally in the rain.
